As Vice President of Marketing at Veriforce®, Debra Marino oversees all aspects of the company’s marketing and product management strategy. Marino joined Veriforce in 2015, bringing over 20 years of experience in technology, software, and services marketing. Prior to joining Veriforce, she served as Vice President of Marketing at Datacert, which provided Fortune® 500 companies with legal and compliance management solutions. Marino is credited with driving the successful launch of the company’s flagship product, Passport®, and establishing the company as the market leader with industry analysts. She also drove the go-to-market strategy for the company’s compliance management software suite and instituted formal product marketing discipline, fostering marketing based in a solid understanding of buyer needs.
In 2014, Datacert was acquired by Wolters Kluwer, a €4.2B information services and solutions company, and merged with one of its existing businesses. Marino was appointed Vice President of Marketing of the combined business and drove the integration of the marketing teams and strategies and the re-branding of the merged business.
Veriforce also benefits from Marino’s experience marketing B2B software and services and establishing thought leadership for technology companies such as Compaq and Hewlett-Packard. While at Compaq, she was responsible for marketing the thought leadership of the company’s Advanced Technology ‘Think Tank’ Group, and was later tapped to take a lead role in a spin-off company where she led a product marketing and content team in successfully delivering B2B web-based IT services solutions. In the Enterprise Business Solutions division at Hewlett-Packard, she led the marketing strategy for the company’s web-based employee portal solution.
